Tips on how to make sure your emails don’t bounce

    Tags: , ,

    1) Only send newsletters to people that want to receive emails from you; so only send emails to addresses that have opted in to receiving them – ie. you have obtained permission/consent from the subscriber

    2) Remove Inactive addresses that do not generate any responses over multiple mailings after a certain period of time. For instance, if you regularly email to your subscribers and a particular address does not generate any opens, clicks, calls, or purchases.

    3) Too frequent is too much and too late is too late. Don’t hound your subscribers with emails (don’t stalk them every 30min with a mail asking them to buy your products). Often, toning down frequency if you are a regular mailer improves response rates.

I hope you find some of these tips useful!

    Sync contacts with Outlook

    To download: http://www.emailbrain.com/eb/integrations.aspx

This plug-in synchronizes contacts with Outlook, and vice-versa. It allows our clients to automatically keep contacts added (or changed) in Outlook or in sync with one another. Just download it, unzip it, select the language folder and install it by by clicking “setup.exe” – once installed, open Outlook to login to your account (under “sync settings”) to start the first sync. You can configure the frequency of syncs and to which dataset and mailing list the Outlook contacts get sync-ed to on Emailbrain. Alternatively, sync up to four Outlook categories with up to four different mailing lists on your account.

    Which Outlook versions are supported?

The downloadable extension installs like any other program on Windows XP / Vista or Windows 7. It will sync one account with Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 versions. Once installed you will see two icons added to your Outlook toolbar – one for settings, the other indicating sync status and progress.
